My Creatures of the Night collection is where all my nocturnal beings gather — the feral silhouettes, the bone‑lit hunters, the winged horrors, and the mythic shadows that thrive where moonlight fails. These aren’t gentle woodland animals. They’re ink‑born figures shaped by darkness, isolation, and the storm‑lit landscapes I live with here in Orkney. I draw these creatures as if they’ve stepped out of old folklore or half‑remembered nightmares: Owls that watch with impossible stillness Panthers and wolves carved from shadow Moths, spiders, and scorpions carrying occult geometry Wraiths, gargoyles, and forest horrors that feel older than the land itself Each illustration uses my haunted‑ink language — dry‑brush textures, splattered shadows, skeletal hints, and deep storm contrast. I want every creature to feel like it belongs to the same world as my Frankenstein mythology and my Dark Arcana tarot: a world where bone, weather, and myth shape everything. This page is my archive of nocturnal life. It’s a living collection, growing as I explore new silhouettes, new beasts, and new night‑born legends. Every creature here has a story, even if it’s only told in ink.
